Yousef majored in English with a minor in secondary education. She also served as a student assistant with the ODU Language 学习 Center. She and the other assistants were nominated for the 2023 SEES 领导 Award for Intercultural Relations. 她还主持了关于 LLCHAT, the center’s podcast that focuses on issues related to world languages and cultures from the perspective of students, 教职员工和社区成员.

Yousef is interested in careers related to teaching English as a second language.
